    Responsibilities

    As part of a versatile office services team the Facilities Coordinator performs general facilities activities and skilled tasks on a variety of commercial building equipment/ infrastructure. Oversee general appearance of facility via walk thru’s compiling check list for facility issues and resolve through hands on maintenance, vendor or landlord. Will provide backup and support as needed to office services team with incoming/outgoing mail-packages, conference room setups, audio video equipment trouble shooting, and switchboard coverage as needed,  and new hire office and space set ups.

     

     

    • Stock and organize supply areas

    • Point of contact on all building and employee work space needs;

    • Support construction projects and space planning efforts, including space build-outs, renovations, reconfigurations and office moves;

    • Coordinate room set-up for office-based events/meetings;

    • Provide support within the planning, scheduling, coordinating of facilities moves, special projects and events.

    • Assists in maintenance of furniture inventories, space planning, and related records / files.

    •  

    • Establish and maintain vendor relationships and schedules service calls/repair services as necessary;  

    • Manage and negotiate vendor contracts for all repairs, maintenance, HVAC and construction enhancement activity;

    • Supervise on-site vendor and contractor activity for maintenance and improvements including electrical, audio/visual,    security, cabling, janitorial, plumbing, utilities, and HVAC;

    Qualifications

    • General experience in electrical, HVAC and plumbing
    • Multi-Faceted trade back ground with emphasis on commercial property experience.
    • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
    • Works well on a team and independently
    • Attention to detail when completing assignments
    • Organizes and prioritizes workload appropriately
    • Utilizes approved resources to complete work in an efficient manner
    • Ability to read and interpret building layouts, blueprints, system drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications.
    • Flexible attitude when facing change
    • Maybe required to work off hours or weekend with minimal notice
    • Will carry cell phone 24/7 for emergency responsibilities and response.
    • High sense of Urgency
    • Experience: Must have 5 to 8 yrs. working in a corporate setting.
    • Education: Vocational schooling, High School diploma or equivalent

Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
