    The Senior Project Accountant supports the business lines by providing timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis and assistance to project teams for lump sum and GMP projects. The Senior Project Accountant provides an initial level of compliance and checks-and-balances oversight for project specific financial transactions. This role is responsible for the project billing process, which includes verifying project costs, contract terms, and the point person for project team management to ensure accurate and timely recording of all project revenue and costs, The Senior Project Accountant typically reports to a Supervisor within Group Finance.




    • Project Support
      • Business Modeling/Forecasting
      • Yearly Budgeting
      • Quarterly Reforecasting
      • Business Line Analysis (pipeline, DT, Opportunities, hit rates, ROS, year-end analysis)
      • Market Data Analysis
      • Review and monitors G&A budget
      • Group reporting – development and maintenance
      • CTC meeting attendance
      • Oversight and review of internal budget
      • Determine rate and cost moves
      • Produce PX scorecard
      • Post owner bills
      • Manage receivable notes
      • Review and approve lien grids
      • Own cash flow management
      • Contract abstracts
      • Identify potential job write-offs
      • Attend pencil review as needed
      • Oversee GMP backup completion
      • Reconciliation with PM for closeout
    • Supervision
      • Direct supervision of FPA’s/PA’s


    • Experience: 5+ years with degree or comparable experience
    • Education: Accounting degree or commensurate experience
    • Additional Role Specific Skills:
      • Project accounting experience required
      • Construction industry experience required.
      • CMiC experience a plus
    • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be detail oriented
    • High sense of urgency
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, and with deadline situations
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
