The Talent Operations Coordinator provides support in three main areas: onboarding, training & development, and data management. This person will work out of our Boston office 3x per week, with the option to work from home 2x per week.

Responsibilities

 

Onboarding:

  • Manage all the operational activities to ensure a smooth experience for all our new hires. 
  • Provide new hire orientation for employees. Coordinate logistics, communications, materials, etc. to ensure successful onboarding.
  • Assist with data entry tasks.
  • Manage “swag” distribution.
  • Follow up on development plans, check-ins, and surveys and reporting.

 

Training and development:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate training and onboarding calendar.
  • Participate in meetings that relate to the creation or revision of training curriculum, schedules, and planning. Coordinate and communicate with event facilitators and partners.
  • Manage event registration, rosters, communications, logistical inquiries.
  • Assist with event scheduling: identify location needs, secure room reservations, manage room set-up needs, test technology and tech support, and coordinating event meals and travel when required.
  • Organize, prepare, compile and ship meeting and training materials to multiple locations/regions.
  • Maintain all training files and understand the importance of training requirements, training timelines, record storage, retention requirements and access locations.
  • Draft monthly communications for Training & Development and “Own Your Career” initiatives.
  • Update system pages and align messaging with talent cycle in LMS. Deactivate outdated programs/materials in LMS.
  • Stay updated on system releases and utilize new features.
  • Generate quarterly reports on all training and development activities.

 

Data Management:

  • Work closely with our talent team to ensure all relevant databases are up to date, look for areas to be improved.
  • Maintain regular HRIS input by collecting relevant employee lifecycle information, such as personal data, contract terms, and benefits and compensation details. 

Qualifications

 

  • 0-2 years of Talent Ops experience and knowledge in training coordination/event/project management. Internship experience would suffice!
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proficient with LMS and other eLearning-related technology. Experience with Cornerstone is a plus.
